Footsteps Together is a ministry of 'Journeying with', of 'walking alongside' our brothers and sisters who are experiencing enforced isolation from mainstream society.
We write letters of spiritual encouragement to men and women in prisons both in Australia and overseas. Through caring and friendship we communicate the love and hope that there is in Jesus as we share the Gospel message.
Our hope is that every person that we journey with will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and will continue to be built up spiritually.
We want to see a decrease in repeat offenders and an increase in men and women experiencing the life changing power of having Jesus walk beside them. A person who accepts the Lord, studies the Word and receives spiritual encouragement is likely to turn their life around for the better, and is less likely to re-offend.
